FRESSH @ Eat Your Veg is my foray into the delectable world of ‘grown up fodder’! During 2015 I ran a street food market stall in Hereford City Centre’s High Town as part of the Friday Food Fair and Saturday Farmers Market.
I’m currently taking a Fressh break during the winter but hope to be back in the late Spring with my seasonally changing menu. Using only Herefordshire sourced meats (from Neil Powells), local cheeses (Hereford Hop, Smoked Little Hereford, Blue Monk feature weekly, as supplied by The Mousetrap) and fruit and veggies from local bag delivery scheme Growing Local. Fressh is available to cater year round for your corporate functions, events, parties or entertaining.
Fresh offerings include zingy wholesome salads (think puy lentils, quinoa, freekeh, roast veggies, giant couscous, taboullehs etc), seasonal veggie tarts (Roast Pumpkin, Leek & Smoked Little Hereford, Roast Mushroom, Wilted Spinach & Blue Monk to name a couple). Plus my sell out hand crafted Homity Pies (a heavenly mix of potatoes, onions, homegrown chard and cream topped with Hereford Hop Cheese). Pulled Pork or Beef Wraps (with sourdough flatbreads happily supplied by The Rocket Cafe) with Rocket and Seasonal Slaws or Spicy Lamb Meatball Boxes with Greek Orzo Pasta & Slaw. Soups, Butty Bach Beefy Stews and Hearty Moroccan Tagines with Veggie Sides in the cooler months. And for the sweet toothed seasonal Fruity Muffins, Fools, Yogurt Pots or Brownies.
